Lead for bullets and Investment?

How do you tell the difference between Zinc and lead wheel weights ? Do they still use clip on or mostly stick on ?

Lead:
Can bend easily
Dents when dropped
Easy to cut with pliers
Makes a thud when dropped

Zinc:
Will not bent easily
Won't dent when dropped
Extremly hard to cut with pliers
Makes a "tink" sound when dropped

Go take a look at this post I put up in the spring, it relates the ratio of clip-on to stick-on weights I had in a pail, and shows some examples of how zinc weights are marked.

Now is the best time for hunting WW at tire shops. Everyone is changing tires and they have to be re-balanced and all. The other best season is obvious in the spring when people will change tires again. These two hunting seasons should not be wasted by casters.
Get as much lead as you can and you won't regret later on.
