lead residue in muzzle of Glock??only fmj??

I went to clean my glock 17 C after my last trip to the range and was surprised to find lead deposits at the end of the muzzle. I only shoot fmj ammo so I was surprised. Any ideas out there for cause and effect. Any cleaning tips so i don't damage barrel?? thanks

If the bullets have an open base, you might get some lead from there. More likely to be carbon than lead. Regular cleaning will take it out. Nothing special is needed.
