Hey everyone. Do people here buy lead from any suppliers? Who's is the cheapest in Southern Ontario? I can't find anywhere to get wheel weights around kitchener. Any help would be appreciated!

Wonder how you say wheel weight in french. Could be an adventure. Guy couldn't believe what I wanted lead for.

The garage that I get mine from wants $30 a bucket for wheel weights. Then I tell them I want them to make my own bullets. After that they say "that's cool" and sell them to me for $20...LOL

Pickup only in Wiarton ON.
People come in from time to time wanting it, I ask what its being used for, if its not bullet making I hold onto it. If you want to pay me something for it great, its available to the first taker.

They sell everything for radiation bricks(about 8 pounds) to lead sheeting to shot to ingots.

IIRC if you go pick it up there is a $125 minimum

you are perfectly right.

to have a decent price we team up with other huge buyer of lead. And we put the price per lb we would like to pay. Usually we get one or two suppliers and the price is fixed for 2 months.

remember one thing when the price is too good to be true. Usually there is a huge compromise you have to do.
