Leaking Primer Pockets -- 7.5x55

Two cases out of a batch of 20 Privi 7.5x55 cases show marks of gas leaking past the primer. They have been fired 3 times, I don't load them too hot, 44-45g Varget under a 150g Remington SP bullet.

I noted that even after the first firing several of the pockets seem to accept the primers very easily.

Is this typical of Privi brass? Anything I can do to resolve the problem?

I had hoped to get more than a few reloads out of this brass.

The only other option I can think of is to resize .284 brass but that is even scarcer than Swiss 7.5. Help!!!

One of the shooters on the US Palma Team told me when his primers pockets get sloppy he changes to Russian primers that are slightly larger.

Unless that brand of brass, which I know nothing about, is very soft, it takes a sizeable overload to expand the primer pockets.
It may not be an overload according to the book, but something may be different about your rifle.
Try reducing the powder a couple of grains and see if that dosen't cure the problem.

Federal in 308 has this problem. It seems to be very soft and often 20% will show signs of leakage and damage the bolt face. I am using Berdan brass in 7.5x55 with good luck.
