Hi,

Have anyone of you used leapers optics.

Where did you buy it, Marstar is out of them.

It will be for a 223 Rem.

Thanks

I have used Leapers scopes.

If you're on a SERIOUS budget, it's not bad - however, personally, I would save up and buy something better.

You might have good luck - but don't expect clarity or features or build quality of a Leupold. :)

Buy quality - and you only need to buy once.

I've used Leapers in the past...and at the sub-$100 price range, they're a bargain. Once you start blowing $300+ for the SWAT models, and I think there's other scopes that are much much better.

Personally, for performance and value, it's hard to beat my Nikon. I also just ordered a Pentax from Ebay from one of the few sellers that will ship to Canada...I paid $99 for it (3-9x40), and I think that will be a great value also.

Nikon is good but I gotta say Leupold is better. Get a lower end Leupold and you will be very happy, if you want something better in the future you can sell if for pretty well what you baught it for.

I've been practicing my 2 eye open shooting and you really do notice the quality in glass. Get a good optic, be happy with it and don't look back.

I was one of those who baught cheep optics in the past. I have a leapers that you can have for shipping cause I don't trust it at all. When I'm zeroing a scope I want it to stay where I set it.

I've had one of those rubber armored 3-9x40 mil dot ones from Marstar; I really liked it, but it recently calved on me and now it's costing me $55 to send in a $100 scope for warranty work ($40 for shipping both ways and $15 to upgrade to new model as mine was discontinued). I'm not too impressed with that. I'd go with something where the warranty depot is in Canada, like a tasco or bushnell if on a budget. Of course, like pretty much everyone else states, if you've got the money, get a leupold and forget about it.

FWIW my Leupold 2-7x33 was only $270 new. The only scope I looked at that I liked more was the zeiss for 2x the price and I looked at a lot of optics.
