I have an 12 guage old bolt action shotgun that I had trouble with feeding, including loading-the shells would hang up on the brass. After some fiddling with the magazine lips, the shells would angle up so the bolt would pick them up, but loading the magazine was still an issue.I figured out that the problem was with lower brass shells-the high brass shells loaded fine, the next shell sliding over the first one.I bought this shotgun strictly for use in ''shotguns with shot only'' areas for deer hunting, and the bolt action shotguns go for about the same price as a single -$80-$100 .
