Leather for the Mosin !!

$40 , when put towards bulk ammo , buys about 150 rounds . Think I'd rather spend it on that. To each their own though ! Some folks like doodads I guess ! But ya can't put lipstick on a pig , and call it a cheerleader.
 
Looks good. That look really fits the mosin. And who doesnt love looking at 54r ammo? Its just the most beautiful thing on the planet....like mini rockets
 
Looking great! That "pig" you've put lipstick on is one of the most reliable rifles ever made, like most Russian small arms, it's made to absolutely work when needed. Enjoy your rifle, AND the shell holder!
 
My diet is not the issue. LOL. I did say to each their own though. And I did say , some folks like their doodads.
By all means , if you like it , go with it ! It's your gun. Dress it up any way you want. You can't expect everybody to see beauty in the same things you do !
If that was the case we'd all be chasing the same woman , and Kermit would be devastated . LOL

Triggerman, I'm glad you are seeing the funny side of all this... 'cause I sure am.

I agree with you 100%... to each their own.

As far as "doodads" are concerned though, I'm keeping it simple. By no stretch of the imagination would I ever consider purchasing an Archangel stock, a Timney trigger, a muzzle brake, a bipod, or any other "tacticool" product developed for the Mosin... 'cause I'm sure Colonel Sergei Ivanovich Mosin would not be pleased !!!

However, I'm sure he would approve of this beautiful piece of badass leather !!!

P.S. I think Miss Piggy is awesome... specially her karate chop !!!
 
I think it's a classy and useful accessory on one's Mosin hunting rifle. Not something I'd use on my collectors or plinkers though.
