A guy send me a PM yesterday in regard of an add. i have in the EE section. it say :
I'll take it.
I said fine, send me a MO or a check or (FRAUD ALERT). But after that he retracted for the sale saying he prefer EMT... Now i want to leave him a neutral feedback at least because i thought he retracted himself for no reason. My question is, does the guy can give me a neg. or neutral feedback just to piss me off? What do you guys do in this situation? The guy have already (1) pos. feedback and (0) post.

There shouldn't be any feedback if the deal never went through.

Did you say you don't do EMT in your ad? If not IMO that would be a reason to back out.

EMT is so much easier than having to drive to post office, pay for MO, pay for stamp, wait a week for you to get money so you can ship.....

I guess he could have said: "I'll take it. Do you do EMT?" Hardly a reason for neg feedback.

Don't leave feedback, no deal was done.
Also if you don't take EMT's please put it in your ad, MO's are a PITA. I don't blame the guy for backing out, unless something is a really great deal or something that I really really want, I stop reading after "No EMT" or "MO only"

edit: didn't see you offered (FRAUD ALERT)... that is more convenient, but they are openly "anti-gun" and many boycott them for this

Haaa, srcew him! You are right no more time to waste. I tought (FRAUD ALERT) was a conviniant way to transfer money. My financial institution do not offer EMT so i have no other way...

(FRAUD ALERT) is better than MO but allot of people are anti-(FRAUD ALERT) as they are owned by ebay who is anti-gun.

Your FI needs to get with the times.

(FRAUD ALERT) charges about 3.5% on all transactions. On a major purchase this represents a lot of money. I only use (FRAUD ALERT) as a last resort.

Its customary in contract negotiations to propose terms... You should have specified what methods of payment you accept, and any other terms. This will make the sale much simpler.
No feedback for either party...

To answer your question, you can't do anything about a negative feedback left against you simpley out of revenge.

It happened to me. I bought sevral scopes and parts from a member who described them as excellent and new condition. But they were all in bad condition, and he did'nt ship everything I bought. He would not refund my cash, so I left him a negative feedback to warn other members. Then he leaves one against me out of revenge.

Feedbacks should also include the date and time they were left. So members can see who left feedback first, and that will be the honest guy.
