Just thought I'd let people know me barons has 500 rd bricks of Winchester wildcats for 29 bucks each, 8 bricks shipped to my door was just shy of 300 bucks taxes in.
Not bad considering Canadian tire is 50 dollars a brick and everyone else is around 40-45

I cleaned out the remainder of Wildcats @ Lebaron in Ottawa. There's some Winchester 222's and 333's left though. Wildcats arent the best .22 in the world, but I like that the bricks are in 50rd boxes. The hunting and fishing store in Richmond seems to have a good supply of CCI Mini Mags @ $46.99 a brick, and 330 count Federal Auto Match @ $21.99. They had 50rd boxes of American Eagle @ $2.99 each, but I made short work of that remaining stock. I've been trying to buy up as much of the cheaper stuff as I can find lately for 30rd mag dumping this summer. Sitting on about 40,000rds at present.

Le barons only ships out of their Montreal store so if you want more and don't mind paying 25 bucks in shipping its not a bad deal, with our dollar tanking that's the cheapest you're gonna get it at for a while

Dude, guys like you are one of the reasons why there's a shortage. And to gloat about it???

Do they still refuse to ship to addresses in cities that have a LeBarons store? I know a couple years ago they would refuse all orders from Ottawa addresses saying we had to order it through our local store. The local store would often say "the computer says it's out of stock at the Montreal warehouse" when the Montreal warehouse said it was in stock on the phone if you called. Either the staff in Ottawa were lying or the computer system they use didn't work right. Considering Ottawa LeBarons is known for terrible customer service, and their inventory system is still living in the 1980's, it could equally be either one.

You have to go to their website and download their catalogue, find what you want to order then fill the order out manually with the product number and price and quantity. I live in southern Ontario and called the Montreal store before I placed my order to see if it was in stock and they said it was, placed my order on Tuesday night and it was delivered Friday.
It won't tell you what the shipping cost is and they don't email a tracking number either and it was shipped via canpar.
Their online ordering system seems really dated but it worked out fine for me.
Like I said considering what other places around me are charging for the wildcats it seems like a pretty good deal.
Side note to anyone in southern Ontario, grech outdoors also has 500 rd bricks of american eagle for 29.99

lebaron.ca

Go to the above address and click on the English button. It will take you to their homepage, then click on the 2015 catalogue to the right. It will then show all the categories of items that they sell - click on the ammunition and you will download the PDF form.
Find what you want to purchase then go back to their homepage and click on "place an order on-line"
It will take you to another page And at the bottom you have to manually type in the product code, description, and price
When you go to check out at the bottom in the comments section is where you have to enter your pal number, exp. Date, d.o.b, and city you were born in.
A little more confusing than most sites but its not too bad to figure out, and they processed and shipped my order promptly

Not sure about any of that, could be true, the woman I spoke to on the phone was polite, told me the .22 was in stock so I placed my order, nice and easy. No hassles fast shipping

It is downright ridiculous in 2015 for a business to run a website like that.

But I thank you for the effort, I see it now.

The whole company is an anachronism; it's setup like it's 1980. The don't use barcodes or computerized inventory in the stores. Prices are individually punched in at the cash based on sticker prices with no record of what the item being sold actually is. With that system I would guess they have no way to accurately track shoplifting/theft rates. Some of my friends joke that if you get some of their branded price stickers printed, you could rob them blind.
If it was a one-off mom-and-pop store the system makes sense but this is a somewhat significant chain with, what, a half dozen stores?

Guns are all recorded and ammo is behind the counter but all their other goods are anyone's guess.

I've got 3-4 bricks of Wildcat squirrelled away from here and there. Some still have $17 price tags on them. I let friends shoot them when they come out shooting if they are fairly new and aren't really good enough to notice a difference with good ammo.

They are the only retailer I know of that stll issues gift certificates.

Not gift cards, the old paper gift certificates!

4 stores still run by the wife of the founder, so it is still kind of a mom and pop store.

First off, You don't get to call me "dude", and second, unlike you, I actually get off my lazy arse and go out and buy ammo a little bit @ a time as I can afford it. Nobody is gloating and none of my ammo is showing up on the EE priced at twice or three times it value. I made no secret as to where I bought it...and even gave prices so others in my area could stock up as well. Don't be a twit

About the only thing I can say positively about them is you can ask for an item and if out of stock they call you when it's in or transfer items for free between stores if you need it. I hate their website, it's from the dark ages and they may as well not have one.

Lebaron does offer a degree of personal service. They found me a couple boxes of 44-40 a while back and called me when they arrived. over $25 per box cheaper than I was paying @ Stittsville Shooting Range. I give them my business when I can
