Lee 2nd load book differences?

I have copies of the Lee 2nd, pdf and hard copy book I bought a year or so ago. There are differences between the two I’ve noticed, for example I was looking for 30-06 data for a friend last night and when looking at the same bullet weights/cartridge in both its slightly different in each version. Has anyone noticed this before, was there an update at some point?

I would expect the 2nd edition to be the same across the board, but this isn’t the first time I’ve noticed it. I have been looking at a couple different cartridges lately as I’ll have some time to load shortly.

Nevermind, I just looked at both. One is a 2003 and the other from 2011 and it clearly says with updated recipes from the get go lol.

Makes complete sense, I need more coffee clearly.

Other information is also updated. The second actually has a piece in the index with what has been updated. Under what’s new.

Remember that the data in the Lee books, all 3 of them [1st ed, 2nd ed. & 3rd, although that one is called 2nd ed. Updated] consist solely of data published by the powder companies. Lee never did their own testing of loads, with the exception of some of the cast bullet data in the centre section of the book.
