I mostly enjoy LEE bullet molds. Have had great success with their TL148g wad cutter mold.

LEE makes the 6 cavity TL125 9mm bullet, mold #90402, and I am considering buying it again. The reason I deep-sixed my original mold was the fact that it cast undersized bullets. Only the rear thicker driving band came out of the mold at .356. The other driving bands were all undersize, and 60% tumbled.

I am considering reacquainting my caster to this mold with a view of powder coating them to true them up to .356 throughout.

That billet has a pretty notorious reputation for tumbling. Seems very few people have success with it over on cast boolits. My advice is get the grease groove version. It works great, I've used it.

Save some money and buy a real mold that will last you many many years. There are a bunch of super quality mold makers out there. One good mold will save you from lots of headaches. There are mold making companies who can custom make a mold with your specifications. Just sayin.

My Lee moulds seem to throw large bullets. My copy of that mould threw .358 bullets and powder coating made them .361. The bullets were too large to size back to .356 so I've sized them to .358 and can use them then. I've since sold that mould and have an RCBS, which I haven't used yet.

If time isn't a problem for you I would take the extra step to size the oversized boolits before PC'ing ( I do this thru a very clean-dry sizing die with no lube on it so the coating still sticks no prob.) then size again after PC. I do this with oversized rifle boolits with good results, they are a lot easier on the press to size before coating.
