Well after having to sent back the feeder kit as I got the 9mm instead of .40, I just installed the right one.

Now the damn thing drop the bullet 1" too early as when the case is 1" from the base of the bullet, the feeder finger get pushed up and touch the die and open.

I'm pretty sure it's installed good as per instruction...

So, what I do?

Tricky to set up properly. They seem to load lead good but are picky with both plated and jacketed unless set up just right. Takes time to fill the tube.... etc.

I found it just easier to place the bullet in the case mouth each time since I reload several calibers on one machine so have to redo the setup each time. Not worth the hassle for me. If you have a dedicated machine for one caliber then maybe.

Anyways, to answer the "what do I do"... the instructions are just a guide. As with all reloading stuff you are going to have to fine tune it. If you are patient with getting the mechanism and the die adjusted just right, then you'll enjoy the results. If not, do what I did... put it back in the box for the day you can afford a dedicated machine so don't have to constantly readjust things.

mine works just fine, but it's in 44 and on a loadmaster- only thing is to make sure you don't exceed the weights in the manual and be sure and have extra fingers- they seem to break for no reason, or get caught between the die and the head- it is a FINiCKY accessory, and you have to get the timing right , but when it does, it works well- the one trick i've learned is to reload the bullets AS you change over to another tube of cases at least in the 44- that way, you never exceed the capacity, as the tube takes 15 or 16 bullets( 240 grains) and that's exactly what 1 tube of cases holds
i should mention, however , that i HAVE gone the dedicated press route and have 3 1000 without b/f and only the loadmaster has it- i still load all my auto stuff one slug at a time

I only load for .40 sw, got only one press.

I make 2 full round with that thing, going SLOW but SLOW, like moving the shell plate 1/4" per 10 sec, or the bullet drop once the finger hit the case.

I don't see how you can adjust the timing on the thing. it would need a way longer sliding tube.

I guess I'll put it in the box and send it back. I tought I would get a great rapid cycling press with that thing.

If I got too fast, as soon I drop the handle, all the tube empty on the table (I use FPRN).

way too much hazzle.
