I was looking for a set of .357 magnum dies. The dealer sold me a set marked .38 Special and told me that they would also do the .357 Magnum. Instructions state something about screwing the dies out a couple of turns to do 357M........am I going to have any problems with these? Dave

No, they work just fine. .357 is just a .38 special case lengthened .1" (if I remember right) and all you do is turn the die out a bit to make them work.

When the .357 Mag was first designed they wanted to make sure that they couldnt be fired in a .38 special revolver and do serious damage so they lengthened the case to avoid this.
