lee classic turret press help

hey i bought a lee classic turret press and i also bought a set of extra ratchets because i heard that these wear out often.... now the only thihng is after looking the whole thing over i cant find where the hell they go are these only for the older lee turret presses?

go on google and look for a owners manual it will show u where they go.

Are you sure you're not thinking of a load-master or another PROGRESSIVE press?

They go inside the little plastic bracket that is clamped to the ram. If you take the little clamp bolt out, and the twisted square out, you can replace it.

After putting a new one in, you may need to retime the turret ( by turning the nut on top of the twisted square drive rod while holding the twisted square rod with a crescent wrench.

Put just a little oil on the turret and things work a lot slicker, and the little square jigger will last a long time.

I cut the stops off the link arms so it goes over centre like a RCBS press - it feels better.

I ordered two Classics but they haven't arrived but I think you slip those square ratchets onto the square action rod, then close the Auto Index Clamp (link below) around it.

Also, when they say don't over tighten the clamp; they mean it!!!!!!!! Cmon ask me how I know

ya i saw that.... i think my issue is that i bought the wrong thing haha thats why its not showing up in the instructions
