Hello everyone, I like to remove the primers of my shells before wet tumbling to clean those dirty primer pockets, but I noticed it was taking too long to place the shell, decap and then remove the shell and place it into a different container.

So i decided to design and 3d print some automatic extractor method this way my left hand only has to place shells in the shell holder and the extractor removes them pushing them down into a bucket.

I noticed a big speed improvement, at least double speed if not more. Let me know what you guys think about this.

Paging Mr. Rube Goldberg! Mr. Rube Goldberg, please pick up the white courtesy phone!

All kidding aside, that is pretty cool. The gear motion is fascinating to watch.

Great idea!
How much?

Thanks, I wasn't thinking of selling it but I could 3d print a copy and send it to you. Not sure how much the shipping will be to you.
If you don't want to pay for it, ill exchange it for some factory cartridges of different calibers, im trying to make a collection of cartridges but at the moment I only have 22LR, 9mm and 223.

Here are the pieces that it includes, Plus ill add a second rotary extractor in case it breaks.

Very neat!

For a shell kicker on a lee single stage, you can also drill a hole on the priming tool, and attach a paper clip to it. Every time the press bottoms, the priming tool will kick up and paper clip will kick the shell out of the holder.

How did you do the rack and pinion design? Does the software do that or do you have to calculate things manually?

RCBS used to sell their "Case Kicker" that did the same thing with a Rockchucker press. I've had one for years and it really speeds up the case processing. I don't know why they stopped making them. This does essentially the same thing with a Lee turret. Very clever. Could be a decent market for these.

That's a great idea. I have converted my Lee turret to rotate opposite direction and have an ejector kick out the finished round after the crimp station.

You get this setup from InlineFabircation? I just got my classic turret setup on one of their quick change mounts with the same case ejection system and I love it!
