Does anyone know of anyone in Saskatchewan that sells this die? Id prefer Saskatoon so I can pick it up instead of waiting. I havent checked Cabelas, but the show nothing on their website unless they call it something different. I want to strictly to deprime/decap.

Unless someone has a better way of de-capping the brass. I have a tumbler on the way, I want to deprime, tumble, then resize.

Thanks

Grab a Lyman universal deprime die if you come across one.
They're unbreakable. Reasonably priced.
Thirty years on mine.

No their not. Miss a berdan case and the decapping pin will break.
A LEE decapper die is hels in with a collet so if you run into a berdan case the decapping pin is suppose to slide up out of the way and not break.

The Lee die is cheap and effective. Isn't there a WSS in SK?

Otherwise, numerous site sponsors sell Lee gear. Try Mystic Precision, Hirsch Precision, Budget Shooter's Supply, or others.

I mostly use the little handheld decapper tool and base made by Lee when doing rifle brass. Works fine when not doing a huge amount at one sitting.

Wouldn't the rod have to be smaller than the case neck?

As far as Lee goes they seem to have 2 sizes of decapping rods. One for 17cal stuff and a larger one that does everything else. At lease for pistol cal stuff.

I can use my 500mag die for decapping just about any other pistol case.

I found the Die at universal decapping die at wholesale sports, and the lee handheld press at cabelas with the shell holder kit of 11. Success! Hammered through about 100 rifle casings. works like a hot damn. thanks for the info guys.
