hi,
is the case length crucial for the lee neck size die ,the collet one, to work effectively?
as in, i think some of my 30-06 cases were trimmed down to ?? length , or a bit shorter than min trim 30-06. an im finding not every case is closing up tight enough to hold the projectile in place.
wat i did was use a FLS with no stem and jam it up just ever so slightly to close the neck, before i seated. worked but id rather not the extra step and wondered, How did the Leee collet work in laymens, and ideally, longer cases r going to crimp better through this ?
i did measure some cases, 2.48s worked, 2.47s didnt seem too
i guess ive answered a bit of this but questionin the lee collet n how it works etc
