Lee die problems

For Lee dies the depriming rod is designed to be pushed up if it meets too much resistance. If everything is ok (i.e. it wasn't a berdan primed case or something) then use two wrenches (one on the die flats, the other on the nut around the pin at the top) to tighten up the grip on the depriming pin collet.

Had to do that. All my cases are properly lubricated and the recapping rods were pushed out with little pressure on the ram. I've fixed the problem, just wondering if others had this issue

Common problem, make sure the pin and collet are clean and dry before you tighten it back up... Also you may notice the primers get stuck on the decaping pin, if so round the pin off slightly with a sharpening stone.

FWIW
I have never figured out why so many people lust after commercial cases, at least with LC or IVI you know they will be consistently stubborn! LOL

It takes a lot more force than you think to tighten that sucker up. I used two long wrenches to tighten mine. One day I'll take a torque wrench to it and see how much I've tightened that thing!
