Im looking for a good web site to find info on a lee enfield so I can identify which one I have and to learn about it. I looked at a few doing a google search but thought someone here would have a better one.
Thanks in advance

Sorry I think I should have posted this in another topic, could a Mod please move this for me? Maybe Milsurp?

Made by Birmingham Small Arms CO. in 1915. Is the bolt mismatched? If it is matching it might be a good candidate for a restoration though No.1 Mk 3 wood is getting harder to find and pricey as well.

The bolt has a different number on it on the side that faces the shooter so i assume it is mis matched? What would the value of this 303 be?

As is, and assuming a decent bore- $175 to $200 tops. I actually think it's worth $100 to $150, but Lee Enfield prices are going nowhere but up, it seems.

Mate if you want to search and browse, log on at gunboards the Lee Enfield forum. Good stuff in that forum.

Hello everyone ... :)

Try Jay Currah's excellent webs site about the Lee Enfield Rifle ...

Jay's site may be accessed as a sub-forum under the regular The Lee Enfield Knowledge Library Collectors Forumhttp://www.milsurps.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72, or if you wish, click on the pic below and bookmark (save) the link in your browser for direct access.

Hope that helps...

Regards,
Doug
