I have a L/E that is a Parker Hale conversion, it seems to be very accurate.
The Trigger is a problem being so heavy, has anyone tried an after market trigger with positive results???????
Thanks. Bill

Never had a problem with the original trigger. I found with gloves on, in the heat of the moment the trigger worked quite well.
Odd, that I've seen many hunters, shooters complain about the trigger but tend to like it under duress. No accidental firing and works every time. Minute of Moose, it has worked quite well for those I know.

The Parker Hale 303's have the original trigger. Its a relatively unique design, but operability can be improved by cleaning and polished by a knowledgeable gunsmith - and can even be reduced to single stage. Not sure about changing the pull weight, as the trigger tension is governed by the mag spring.
There are also aftermarket triggers (Huber?), cant comment on them...

Problem cured, I bought a canwest target trigger from a fellow on here, I now have a single stage nice crisp trigger set at 2lbs. These triggers are not an easy installation. So as canwest suggests if your not handy with tools take it to a gunsmith.
