Hey a guy at work gave me 2 Lee Enfield mags today. I know nothing about these.

They both fit my rifle, But 1 of them is different.

The mag on the right with serial# is mine.

Will these 2 mags work in my No4 MK2 ?

Agree with cantom - they should work - they are correct type. These magazines may need some tuning to work in your rifle. Original design was to adjust feed lips, etc. to fit and feed perfectly in one particular rifle - that is why they were serial numbered. They stayed in the rifle, were not swapped out like M16 magazines. Rifles were reloaded with 5 round stripper clips through the top. Once you get the feed lips adjusted for the ammunition you are using (bullet shape), it is very easy to deform them (usually flatten them out) by repeatedly inserting the magazine into the rifle. When you eventually get the feed lips feeding perfect, think of these as "fixed" magazines that happen to be easier to remove than the magazine on a Mauser 98. An extra magazine is useful to have in case original gets damaged, rusts, or whatever, but will likely need tuning.

These rifles were issued with one mag and were loaded from the top with strippers. Removing the mag was for cleaning purposes. It was not intended to be reloaded by switching mags, although there is no one stopping you from doing so.
