Is there such a thing as replacement springs and followers to repair a Mk 4 mag?

The spring snapped just below the rivets into the follower.

I figure in the old days the mags were plentiful and cheap -but now....

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Check out Ellwood Epps. (above in the vendors) Look in their "parts" selection. I think Marstar sells parts for the Lee Enfield also.

They're often available at gun shows as well. Make sure you're getting one for a No. 4 as opposed to an SMLE.

It's not a sponsor, but Numrich out of the states was fairly painless to deal with, great online catalog with an exploded diagram of the rifle with numbers regarding the parts.

Your right about Numrich having lots of parts and eazy to deal with but the only drawback is the 25$ dollar fee they charge for international orders.

That is an issue, I tend to order everything in one go, when I redid my LE, they had everything I required, in stock.

Numrich...you can't specify any make, condition etc. You just get what the order picker throws into an envelope. Wood is unlikely to match, colour, maker, country etc.
And, that $25 fee really sucks.

But at least they will ship here.

I buy most of my followers on E-bay.Most of the sellers in the UK will combine shipping and I try to keep a supply of parts for future restorations.I have bought smle and No.4 followers for as little as $5.00 with shipping costing the same. The bonus is I get lots of little parts shipped at no extra charge.
