Curious about these Lee Enfield model No 8 MK 1's. Anyone here know much about them or know what the going rates are? Equipped with the parker hale model 5c aperture site ridged model for no4 mark 1 .

Thank you for any advise.

I love mine. Very accurate, and a fine part of my humble Lee Enfield collection. I think i bought it for between $1000 and $1500, but not sure exactly in that bracket.

Hi tin. The rifle pictured has been commercially improved. Not sure of the target rear sight but if its a PH5C then obviously a .303 or 7.62 sight does not belong on a .22 cal rifle. The original front sight has been replaced with a globe pattern and the blued steel insert container has been placed on the grip cap. The trigger guard swivel is the standard commercial Parker Hale with a sling outfitted with eyelet swivels. The woodwork is possibly a quality commercial replacement as it doesn't appear to be the standard Fazakerly military quality. Chances are that someone in the U.K. spent lots of money increasing the commercial appeal and thus the value. Pending if the service rifle markings on the left side of the body are visable I would think that at $2K would be a bargain. JOHN

Beautiful looking. Too bad they are scarce and tough to support (magazines, parts, accessories, and all that fun stuff) and shoot on a regular competitive basis. I mean ORPS / CRPS ; because it sure would be fun to rock one for poops and giggles at a match.

I love the lines!! :dancingbanana:

Cheers, Barney
