Lee Enfield No.5

I would love to have a Enfield no.5 rifle. Does anybody know where I can find one or what I should look for if I do find a used one? What are common signs of wear on these rifles? Thanks for your patience, I am up on the new tech, just not as much on the older, finer, rifles.

They come up on here quite a bit and run the full gamit from BEAT TO CRAP PAINTED IN HORRIBLE CAMMO PAINT!!

to pristine unissued. ( like mine)


You need to watch out for fakes as some american companies were slapping flash hiders on cut down No4s and calling them No 5s. You need to watch for the lightening cuts etc as well as markings.
