I'm interested in an old Lee Enfield No1 Mk3, it's a sporter but in pretty good shape, the rifle comes without the inner band, I know the front sight need to be removed to install the inner band but how hard is to remove the front sight pin and the front sight? Hammer and a punch is good or do I need to use a press?

Hammer and punch should do it, soak it in penetrating oil for a while if it won't break free initially.
