Any information on how to remove the bolt and any idea of value. Its sporterized but in great shape. I got this in a package deal and want to list it but have know idea on what a far price would be. I'm a CAS guy this gun is not my thing.

Have fun.

"Only" a .303 but it has Enfield rifling, newly reintroduced in the USA as "5r" except that it is left-hand. One of the most accurate rifles you are likely to happen into under 2 grand.

Round can be loaded to equal the .308W in this rifle with no strain at all. If you need "more power" you might connnsidert the .303 Epps Improved (which can equal a .30-'06 with little trouble) or the .303 Epps Magnum, a .308 Norma casing with a .303 slug. I believe the Ellwood Epps shop still does this work.

A lifetime rifle with hardly any faults at all. Be careful with the ejector spring; they break. They can also be replaced with s spring from a ballpoint pen and a drop of JB Weld: 10-cent fix and it lasts.

But mostly, have fun!

Left side of the receiver you will see a block, it is really the ejector/bolt release lever and it will allow the bolt to slide out if held open with your left thumb while you pull the bolt out with your right hand... like a mauser.

I bought mine for $95 a few years ago...it is sporterized (wood cut down) and still has the Iron sights.
But then again while the bore is excellent on mine, it is a parts mutt, with a few external blemishes, but it shoots great! :)

Also I notice mine lacks the annoying expansion ring around the base of the fired cartridge like with the #4 Enfields I have owned.

Overall a far better rifle then the other Enfields IMHO.
