Lee Factory Crimp Die and 9mm cast bullets

Hello!

I'm noticing that this crimp die is resizing my boolits by 0.001". Which is fine but I'm also noticing that some bullets will take up to 5 big whacks to get the bullet pulled out.

The crimp is light. Just enough to crimp the bell.

It normally takes one normal whack to pull the bullet out, but I'm encountering some tough bullets. I know crimping too much can be really bad, but how about these tough to pull out bullets?

Is the lee die a taper crimp style? How did you make the initial adjustment for the die? You will defiantly not want to over crimp and it sounds like maybe you have it set a little snug...

Yes, it's taper crimp styel. I'm using about 2/5th turn, just to get rid of the bell.
