Lee hand press operator error

This is a plug and warning about the great little Lee hand press.

Considering this is the second time I have bent decapping pins thought I might pass the lesson on. (I obviously don't learn maybe some one else will)

These great little "use anywhere" presses store spent primers in the hollow ram. less then 50 primers fills the ram and leads to bent decapping pin.

Take home message is simple: Dump it frequently.

the same deal could possibly go for the loadmaster, if you could ever fill the ram

since i moved to bc i havent yet built a reload bench.

i have loaded over 1000 rounds on mine.

just remember to empty that little primer catcher because it's hard to get the shellholder out when its too full..

I only use mine for seating bullets. Sizing is done on the press, out in the garage

yeah but imagine how many rifles I could'nt buy if I built a garage!
