I recently acquired an older Lee load all for 12ga. but no manual. I have searched this form and the web with no luck so I thought I would ask for some help. I can find the manual for the load-all II but I don't know what differences there are. Does anyone know were I can get a copy of the manual and any hints or tricks for using it would also be appreciated. Yes I am fully aware there are lots of bigger better set ups I could/ should be using but I want to try this first to see if I want to get into it bigger. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

We're talking the red plastic thingus where the entire body moves up and down? I have one in my basement. PM me with your mailing address and I'll send you a copy. Nothing wrong with it - not nearly as ###y as some, but like almost all Lee stuff, it works well.

I have a Load All 2 that I have used to load lots of 12ga. It worked best with Winchester AA, but can be tinkered with to load other hulls as well. Pretty simple setup and it works! If you are stuck, I'll dig around and see if I can find the manual for this one. Seems to me you can convert them to a Load All 2 from a straight Load All, but I may be wrong......

Tex critter that link is for the load all II which I was able to find but I don't know what the difference is between it and the original. Thanks atom for the offer I have sent you a pm as well as one other offer of the manual. You can't help but love a website that has four offers of help in less than 12 hours thanks alot. kjohn do you have any idea why the winchester AA hulls work best? I guess info like that makes iteasy in helping me decide what type hulls to get though.

Thanks again and any other tidbits would sure be appreciated!:)

Win AA hulls are one piece compression formed hulls. They are noticably thicker near the base of the hull. They won't bend or crush like some of the straight walled hulls that have a separate plastic or paper base wad.

That's right. Plus, I think likely the Load All was designed around AA hulls, as that is sort of the Chev pickup of shotgun hulls, i.e. very popular with reloaders. Don't let the lack of AA hulls stop you, though. Tapioca, toilet paper, a shim under the hull, etc will usually get a loaded round turned out. Some of the really cheap, ugly off-brand hulls are nearly impossible to re-use. Some of the perfectionists on here would spin around and fall over if they would see what I have tried.:p
