Hi, looking for a copy of the charge tables that come with the small Lee Loader sets. Mine are missing.

Anyone have an online source for this, or could scan me a copy?

Thanks!!

Google is your friend. An image of the charge table comes up right away when I put in "Lee loader charge table .303 British".
I don't know how it could be simpler.

I did the same search already; got a couple copies with some differences of the table. Also, some of the copies online do not specify the # of the dipper required, which is likely on the missing adjacent page.

Can't find a good copy of 30-06, but found a couple that may suffice.

Lee data is conservative for the dipper approach to powder measurement. If you have a scale, any published data works.

I bought 2 old Lee Loaders. Never reloaded before, so want to stay safe and work up.

J1 - the kits come with specific dippers for powder measurement.

I started off loading with those as well (303 Brit and 222 Rem). I bought a used scale off the EE, a caliper to measure cartridge length and a couple loading manuals. I loaded with those for a couple years before buying a press. I highly recommend getting a scale. Its hard to get consistent powder weight with the just the dippers. You can fine tune your loads much easier if you weigh your powder, and you will have more options as to what powder you can use.

In that case,I would be looking for a reloading manual.
The Lee manual does have data for relaoding with their scoops.

With a set of dippers & a dipper capacity chart that cross references the different powders & weights for the different cc dippers you can cross reference powders not listed with load data from the bullet manufacturer, I can't seem to upload the Lee dipper capacity chart but it can be reached online. The dippers can be quite consistent if they are used the exact same way each time, letting the powder flow down into the dipper by keeping it upright and pushing it down into the powder letting the powder flow in rather than scooping it, and striking it level the same method every time.

With access to a scale you can make youre own dippers from empty strait walled casings. Empty cases work well as powder tricklers too if you have a scale available to weigh charges.

Take this for what it is worth to you at the Moment.
The Lee dipper numbers mean the displacement/capacity of that dipper in cubic centimetres.

Different powders will occupy different volumes for the same weight of charge.

Lee calls this Volume Measure Density, or VMD for short. They have a chart you can look up.

https://leeprecision.com/files/instruct/VMD.pdf

Example Dipper 3.7 = 3.7cc
H4895 and IMR 4895 both have VMD of .0728
3.7CC divided by VMD of .0728 = 50.8gr of either of those powders.

Different lots of same name powder do vary slightly.

3.7cc ÷ 0.0728 VMD = 50.8gr

Also note the the dippper size and data used are for the STARTING loads.

The regular LEE manuals or Data Sheets have a column which specifies a dipper value, if applicable.
