Hi Guys,

Were there such things as Lee Metford carbines?

Can anyone please help with a picture or point me to a picture?

If so what do range do they sell for (a range from a buggered wallhanger to collector grade

I recently got interested in Metfords but lack the MLM knowledge..

Cheers

Jason

BUY SOME BOOKS!!! If you're going to start collecting anything, get some good ref. book, and read the damn things... :D

Yes, there are Lee Metford carbines out there, I use to own one. I think I paid around $1200 for that one, and she was in pretty ruff shape, so I hate to know what I good one is worth.

Seeing as you're from the great Prov of NFLD, you have a better chance of finding Lee Metfords than the rest of us. I got a lot of good rifles from a friend in NFLD as they seem to be droping out of the trees at one time. Ask around in the small towns if you get a chance....

Also have one. and two Lee Enfield carbines. two R.I.C. carbines and two N.Z. contract carbines

No5's are classed as rifles NOT carbines.
Buy Skennerton's book! www.skennerton.com. It is the BIBLE for enfield collectors. No it's not cheap, but getting screwed by some sharp dealer can be expensive.
