Anyone have an idea what a Pattern 1888 Mk.1 Bayonet goes for these days?

I know condition is a factor. The one I am looking at has good metal, little to no bluing on sheath, intact wood grips in good shape, functioning release button. The blade is un-sharpened and shiny but some pitting.

A range of values would be appreciated.

Thanks

The one your descibing I'd say value $100-120,at a gun show some body would have $150-175 on it.If there is a regimental marking it'll add $ + how many times it been reissued can lower it.

I would have to say in the $150-175 range, Haven't seen any lately. There is a 1903 bayonet on ebay @ $100 ish now?

Collector's Source, in Acton, Ontario, not the least expensive place, lists 3 of 'em. $165, in excellent condition, no sccabbard. $195 for one with a Regimental mark and $295 for a Type 2 with a scabbard.

Why would the value be lower if it was reissued? I would think the extra travel and history would make more valuable.

Pattern 1888 Bayonet

I have a 10 or 12 1888 bayonets and being reissued never was an issue with me. The info on the bayonet, scabbard, and condition might increase the value. I have two bayonets issued to the PEI regiment, small island and small population so there weren't many issued. Here are a couple in my collection.
