Unboxed my new Lee Pro 1000 Loader from Reloader.ca this morning at 0800. Bolted her down on the bench and by noon I had run out of bullets, almost 400 rounds loaded. Going easy to start I easily loaded 150 rounds per hour. No problems at all. I spent the last couple of days watching YouTube videos on set up and timing etc. which really helped, as the owners guide leaves lots to be desired. The press ran great. Very happy especially when you consider the price.:D

Sounds good!

When you've had a chance, please update the thread with a range report.

You know that Lee Pro1000s suck and are plain and pure POS, right?
You are supposed to run into a lot of problems, spend hours try to fix then give up and return the thing, right?

Then why did your Pro1000 work well off the bat and why are you happy?

I don't get it!

I just got a used pro 1000 off CGN. Changed Dies and stuff to my set up. A few hint videos later and she works BE A U TIFUL. I almost didn't buy it , due to all the bad talk about it, but i learned that lesson with my Beretta U22 Neo's... another so called POS, but once again mine works flawlessly with ALL AMMO! Anyway I'm not saying its the best press ever but well worth the money for a new one. Does it take time to set up...yes... do the instructions suck...yes... does it make great ammo....yes! maybe all the people who hate it are the same people who can't be bothered or don't know how to look up how to vids on the interweb!! Darn New Fangled Technology!!!!

Ive had the Lee pro 1000 for a few months now and I reloaded close to 5000 rounds with it up to now. All i can say is this is the best you can buy on a moderate budget. It runs like a tank. Just keep her clean and she will run good. Compared to the blue machine, parts and dies are a lot cheaper witch is good in my book.

A Dillon 1050, with an automatic bullet feeder, and autodrive. It does everything but load the mags.

Well, you are not only evil, you are mean!:D

Us mere mortals cannot even scrounge up the cash for a decent rifle, much less a reloader like that, or the components to feed its voracious appetite.

A Lee will have to do. Thank you very much.

They are great for squib loads, crushed primers and endless hours of cleaning up powder dumps.Your well come to it.To each his own.Give it a few months you will see the light and it will be Blue.

Finally someone who did his due dilligence and is not complaining!! Congrats!

Went out bought more bullets, presto another 500 rds out no problems. That Dillon 1050 looks great but....used the extra money I had put away for the LnL for bullets, primers, powder and oh yes, a slightlly used CZ858! Just be being value conscious I guess.
