A buddy has a 303 for sale, it's one of the Ireland ones. Dated in the 50's i believe? This thing is mint and might have 20 rounds down the barrel. Can anyone give me an idea of the value? Thanks very much.

Thanks very much for the reply! Really hoping i can get my hands on this beauty!

hopefully some more knowledgeable than me chime in..I'm no expert, just what I've seen on the EE and vendor websites. Use caution..ask questions...if you have the luxury, get photos and put them up, will make it much easier for the experts to give advice. Good luck..hope it works out !

Heading too the range this afternoon to fire it and get some more info on it. He's asking $500 for the rifle. Thanks again!

that sounds pretty damn good for a "mint" rifle....have a look at the bore since you get to take her for a test drive

good luck, have fun shooting.

Purchased the rifle tonight for $500 and it only had 40 rounds down the barrel. Shot sitting at a bench and off elbows at 100YDs. Hit the 8inch metal plate 9 for 10. Not bad and happy as a pig in sh*t right now. Thanks for the feedback guys really appreciate it.

You can't know for sure if people asking $600-700 for comparable rifles are getting that much, but based on what I have sold other No.4s for I wouldn't be surprised if they are getting at least $500. If you want a No.4Mk.2 in excellent condition, I doubt you'll ever get a better offer than your friend's at that price.

I wish I had bought two when I got mine from S.I.R. for only $200.
