First off let me say im not about to buy one :D I was just wondering if anyone here actualy uses one? i see them for sale on ebay but i cant recall ever talking to someone who actualy used one.

You mean the tiny little $30 bench press? I've used one for a bit of low volume handgun stuff. Should be ok for 22 hornet or 25-20 and the like.

Best use for it was to mount it on a plank that could be c-clamped anywhere and then brought to the range or in front of the TV with a Lee bullet sizer in it or a ram prime system. Cheap and handy for things like that.

I borrowed a Lee Turret Press from a friend of mine about a month ago to try reloading and to learn how to do it. It worked fine for me and I was able to find the right load for my rifle. I like the idea of the turret press and never having to take out your dies once they are set. I'm presently considering buying a new Lee Turret Press for $90 at Wholesale Sports in Edmonton.
I don't know what the general sentiment on here is about the cheaper Lee's presses but as a casual reloader I'm thinking economy. I'm the kind of guy that doesn't need a Mercedes when a Ford will get me where I'm going just fine.

I've gotten a lot of good years of service out of a Lee turret press. I find it still works for me. I reload handgun and rifle up to 300WM. You could certainly reload handgun faster with a progressive setup, but in half an hour I can load enough for an evenings shooting at the range.

I have one of those little guys....pretty basic. I've sized 9.3x62mm, 6.5 Swede, .308, .223, and 30/30 with it. Also used for running cast bullets through a sizer. I'm guessing it would #### the bed pretty quick if you're ham fisted.

I used one for years as my only press, loading .308 Win, .44 mag and .38/.357. Then a friend gave me a Challenger he had allowed to rust after his basement flooded. I cleaned the Challenger up and put the Reloader away until last year, when I unpacked it and gave it to a new shooter who was thinking of reloading.
