Fellas, can anyone verify that the powder dipper that comes with the .45 Colt Lee Reloader is only .7 cc? The one I just got has this size dipper and it seems kinda small to me.

The Lee dippers seem to be quite accurate in my experience. So much so, I recently purchased a whole kit of various sizes. As above, I periodically verify on my scale.

I love my Lee Loader in 7x57 and now I want one in 308. I am getting quite good with them, and I actually prefer making small batches with them.

I started with Lee scoops decades ago, before getting a scale. I used the scoops with the scale for awhile before getting a measure and much later a Chargemaster. There's times when its still faster/handier to grab a scoop than reset a measure. Another use is remote reloading, I've assembled many loads in foreign lands just to get around airline ammo weight limits. The fact that a few scoops weighed a lot less than a measure didn't hurt either. In that theme, a Lee hand-press worked well and is cheap enough to give away instead of bringing it home. I'd just take my dies and scale, there always seemed to be enough interest in a light portable set-up that takers aren't hard to find.

I've also acquired a Lyman 310 tongs hand press and am currently seeking dies for several calibers that I shoot.

I don't bother with shotgun shells, 9mm, or 5.56mm, but the prices of particularly 5.56 is getting to where I might just also reload for it, though, the narrow neck might be too frustrating to get powder down? My time is still worth something to me.

Pistol calibers like .44 Rem Mag, .45 Colt, .45 acp, .357/38, I'll load for.
Rifle calibers like .303 Br, 30-30 I'll also load for.
