Lee Sizing Tool, Any Good?

I was recently talking with a gun builder that says the lee sizing tool cannot be accurate as the brass at the primer pocket could and most likely is a different thickness in every brass. Do you think this is enough to compromize my accuracy or safety to the loaded shell after?

What "Lee sizing tool" are you talking about?
The regular die set, or the Lee loader that comes in a little box?

I assume you are talking about the case trimmer.
The Lee works off the overall length of the case, just like every other trim gauge. The pin on the bottom of the gauge goes through the flash hole to the holder. It doesn't work off the inside of the case.
Probably the best thing Lee makes is their trimmer setup.

Lee Case trimmer

The Lee case trimmer is fool proof. Put the trimmer in a cordless drill, very quick. It works great.
