lee slugs and a rifled barrel

any help im getting a rifled barrel for my 870 and would like some advice in loading for it i got a 1 once lee slug mold and was told to use bore butter to fill the voids in the rear of the siug as well as 2 shot cards to help the slug from sticking to the wad

as per the slugs: I dont use bore butter on mine, i would think that if I left them sit for a wile it might melt allover the place and bugger the powder in the shell. I use 6cards to take up space in the wad(I have the 7/8oz lee mold), u should use enough cards to bring the slug up to the mouth of the petals of the wad so u can get a good crimp, well thats what i do and get good results.
