I am looking for a, preferably a Jewell, trigger to replace the X-mark Pro on my 700. Does Jewell make a lefty model? Or possibly a safetyless model that can be used on the lefty action? What about the bolt release?

What about Timney. Do they make a left-handed model? Or something that will work?

I can't answer those questions but I am curious as to what weight of trigger you wish to buy. 2 ounces? 8 ounces? 1 pound?

"...between 4 and 8 ounces..." Way too light for a hunting rifle. Assuming that's what you plan on using it for.

Jewel makes the HVR which has Safety and Bolt Release and they also make another model with Bolt Release but without Safety.

I don't know if they make the HVR in Left tho.

Since this is in the Precision Rifle forum, why would you assume that? ;)

I've always wondered... is accuracy really improved by going from a 3lb trigger to say one with 8oz pull? Or is it just a personal preference?

It is easier to ''fire when you want to'' with a lighter trigger... so if you are experienced with the lighter trigger there is a good probability you will shoot more accurately with it.

Plus my thinking on the matter is that less pulling on the trigger means less chance of pulling the entire gun off your POA.

When your trying to hit a 1/2 MOA Center at longer distances, 1mm here means feet at the other end.
