Asking for a buddy of mine who has decided to get into the 22LR PRS game. He currently has a LH Savage Mark II with a thumbhole stock, but would like to get a chassis for it. I told him I'd look around, but finding an honest politician or unicorn tears seems to be easier than locating something that will work for him.

Call a machine shop and offer them your life savings to cut one on CNC, thats probably the easiest way to get a chassis of some kind left handed...

Could look into the Lithgow 101 rifle, might possibly be a left handed chassis for one of those, but even then, slim.

Only kind of option is maybe order a Boyd's AT-1 stock for it. Still not ideal, but its something

I’ve thought about this as I’m a southpaw, Id be interested to see if a LH and RH action are essentially the same minus the bolt and ejection port, safety. If so a LH rifle should fit in a RH chassis, you would just have to cut a new bolt grove and clearance for the safety if it needed it. Looking at the chassis on my Howa it would be easy if that was the case, if Howa made a LH 1500 that is.

If that's possible like say on the MDT LSS RF version, then I'd just chuck it on my mill and remove some material for the bolt knob to clear so long as there is no or not much internal work to get it to fit.

I have a mk2 lefty with bull barrel that I take on a standard left hand mk2 FV. I also buy on EE a used boyds right hand pro varmint stock and cut out the bolt groove on the wood for left hand conversion. Okay the right side have a groove that is ugly but with bedding on it it's a really accuracy rifle.

I know MDT solded LSS RF lefty a couple year ago but you can send a message to MDT. It probably do something for you.

If you have mill and you can do the job (and you don't care of the look of the right side groove) it fit!
