Left handed milsurp?

Straight pulls seem to be the most common, there are several conversions out there for K31's.
Here is a picture of a British sporting conversion on a Ross.

For most of history parade square movements are taught one way and done one way. They are words of command for moving about on the battlefield. Soldiers are expected to do EXACTLY as ordered, including rifle drills. That said, left handed soldiers are expected to perform as effectively as their non-sinister comrades. There were no arsenal options provided. Ambidextrous controls only appeared on Canadian service rifles with the C7A2.

I recall a German 300m shooter at Connaught who had a right handed hold, but left eye dominant rifle. The sights were extended on precision plates. She shot quite well, and I remember watching her technique.
 
Current lefty conversion for the K31 from Swiss Products. I've not used this model, as I have an older version.

The Swedish AG-42s are pretty ambidextrous, I suspect the Hakim would by the same token be too.

As a lefty I tend to prefer straight pulls, though straight standard bolts aren’t too bad to operate either once you get used to it.
 
Knew a couple left handed Swiss shooters.
They just had to roll the K31 rifle close to 45° to the left and use their left hand to operate the bolt. Shooting prone lefthanded, right hand and elbow supporting front of rifle.

Left-sided people are indeed "sinister", but they're also "in their right mind".
 
I just reconverted an m10 ross BACK from left hand. A good friend inherited his grandfathers sporter. Gramps was a lefty, my buddy isnt.
Gramps had cut and rewelded the handle on the shoud to the left, and made a rather neat trigger block safety.
I found a proper shroud and safety, used the original bolt head. Seems a1. Range test next week.
