I use my right hand. My first press was a Dillon 650. I have a Lee single stage I also operate with my right and feed the cases with my left.

Demonical's post about his new bench got me thinking about this. Even though I am left handed I would do the same thing:

Because I'm right handed, I will mount my press over on the righthand side of the thing, facing the shorter 30" section. I will have lots of space on the larger left portion of the table top to strew s**t all over.

i have no issues with the press... i am a lefty but shoot right. It's the scale that gives me fits. I currently use a lee safety scale but it can be down right tedious.

Being left handed is perfect for operating my Dillon 550. My useless right arm does the menial chore of pulling the handle, while my super sophisticated left hand does all the complicated, intricate things like indexing the shell plate and placing the bullet on the charged case. :D

Honestly, I think the 550 was designed by a lefty. ;)

I'm right handed and my Dillon Square Deal is mounted on the left side on my bench. I usually sit on a stool to the right of the press and operate it with my left hand and can crank out a few hundred rounds an hour.

I'm a south paw too, never seemed to think about it, Just did it. It's like if you go overseas and have to drive on the left side. You just make due.

+1. With a 550, it's the left hand that requires more dexterity.

Exactly!

I do the same with the rock chucker.
