Lefty 22lr options actually available in stores right now?

I made the switch to shooting left handed due to an eye dominance issue. I was sorta waiting on the Tikka T1x in 22lr, but there seems to be no real idea of when the lefty versions will actually make it to Canada, with some claims being as late as Summer 2021 before they show up. Well, I don't really want to wait that long to pick up a 22lr in a lefty, so I figured I'd ask around here and see what else is available these days.

I have seen the Savage Mark II GL on a few websites, but it is pretty much the only lefty 22lr rifle I've seen actually for sale lately. If they only came with a heavy barrel I would be done with my search, but I don't really want another sporter weight savage (I already have a right-handed Mark II F and its a great gun, but I don't really want a gun that is so similar to what I already have). I have seen that Nordic Marksman has some Anschutz available, but at $1300+ are a bit out of my price range.

So has anyone seen anything else available lately? I know CZ makes some lefty models, but I haven't actually seen any for sale lately, and other than CZ, Savage, and Anschutz (which again are out of my budget) I can't say I've seen much in the way of lefty 22lr options.

I've been watching the EE lately, and haven't seen much there either. There was a Savage up the other week, but it sold before I could decide if I wanted it...

Store in NWO has a new left hand Izhmash biathlon rifle sitting on the self. It’s a toggle action unsure of model.

For that kind of price, I'd want the varmint model - Not looking to drop $900-1000 on a rifle that'll shoot no better than a $250 Savage.

Personally, I think the "sporter" handles better.

- This been said, if you're OK with a Savage... might just has well buy it and save the $$.
The $ premium for a Browning/Tikka/CZ would be for a "nicer" action/stock, fit and finish. Accuracy wise, you and the ammo will most likely be the limiting factor.

Problem with the savage is its only available in a sporter weight barrel (technically they make a HB version with a laminate stock but I can't find em anywhere), and from my own experience the heavy barrel savages do tend to shoot better than the sporter weight...

I've been wanting to try CRPS, so that's one reason I want a heavy barrel profile.

I’m a lefty and with the light weight of most .22’s I have just learned to operate the bolt with my support hand, is it perfect? No, but it hasn’t got in the way of my hunting or target shooting with my rh bolt action. I’m shooting a heavy barrel xt22 by the way, a LH would be nice but it’s not a deal breaker for me in a .22 bolt gun.

I have tried that with my savage Mk ii. It's doable but I don't really like it. Plus I picked up a lefty rem700 for hunting so I'd like the 22lr to work on the handling/muscle memory aspect.

Try doing some research.

Research what? Some rifle I can't afford and won't be buying regardless of how good or bad it is? No thanks. If I could afford it I would be buying an Anschutz, but I can't justify $1500 for a 22.
