Lefty chassis or stock options?

I'm wondering if there are any left-handed chassis options for the rimfire shooter? I've tried looking online but haven't found any. Looking to buy a lefty 22lr and having the option of dropping it in a chassis if I want to would be advantageous.

Thanks!

I believe if you had a Bergara B14R or Vudoo V-22, you can drop either of those into a Rem700 chassis like an MDT ACC or KRG Bravo LEFTY.

XLR also has some "ambidextrous" chassis options for T1, CZ457, and Rem700.

Is the B14R available in a lefty? I know the centerfire version is, but I'm not sure about the rimfire?

Ambi chassis is interesting! I will have to look into that more. Ambi would probably makes it easier to resell if I decided I didn't like it... The T1x is on the top of my list too.

Not many options, but more than there used to be.

KRG offers a couple different lefty options if you're going with something in a Remington 700 footprint. Same with MDT and MPA. Lots of XLR's options, if not all of them, are ambi if you're going with a 700 footprint. I've heard some of the t3x stocks/chassis can be modified to work with a t1x, but I don't have experience with that myself.

There are numerous 10/22 options that are new or not yet in stores and look quite good. A custom 10/22 of course isn't lefty, but is easy enough to run left handed.

For true left handed rimfire chassis'.. we're kind of left out of anything in a low or mid tier price range. Right handed shooters have options for CZ's and Savages among other platforms.. but I have not seen anything for a lefty that did not require a very expensive custom action with a centerfire footprint. I looked and decided for under $2k the best I could do is a good 10/22.

Probably not going with something in a Rem700 footprint. Is there even anything affordable in that footprint? All I've seen is custom actions which aren't cheap to start with, and get well out of my price range by the time you add the necessary pieces.

I've been leaning towards the T1X but of course they're not available in lefty yet. If there was a different model with better aftermarket support then maybe I'd consider something else but it seems they're one of the better options for a lefty - or will be once they actually get here.

I feel your pain. As far as I know, there is nothing close to "affordable" in a rem 700 footprint. It's just the only way you'll get a left handed 22 in some of the nice chassis options. As I mentioned there are some reports of T1X's being fitted to T3X chassis' or stocks with a little work... that might be the only way to get a factory left hand rimfire action into a nice chassis. You'd have to do some digging to find the write ups on stock modifications that had to be done though. I recall seeing them on some US centered sites.

Fair enough. I don't NEED a chassis per say, in fact I quite like the one-piece stocks like the KRG Bravo and GRS Bifrost. I didn't know the Bifrost was available in a lefty, now that I know it is, a T1X sitting in one of those seems like the perfect solution for what I am after. Hopefully they'll have some coloured models in a lefty in the future, as I'd prefer a brown or green stock rather than the plain black... Gotta get the rifles into Canada before any of that matters though. The wife will probably find something else I have to spend my money on so I likely won't be buying the stock until a little while after the rifle, so they've got a bit of time.

Suther, I was in the same boat. Ended up going with a CZ 452 American LH that Bullseye North tracked down for me (they're hard to find). It now sits in a Boyds Pro Varmint stock, which I'm pretty happy with. I wish I could put it in a chassis, but since MDT stopped making the one model for the 452, there are exactly 0 chassis options I'm aware of.
If you can wait, the Tikka T1x looks like a good option with lots of after market support. I can't speak to what's still available for Savage's MkII. Since I upgraded to the CZ I haven't been interested in shooting my MkII very much.
