Which Glock model(s) are southpaw friendly with a reversible mag release?

-most g20/21 sf models have AMBI mag release, altough it is not a very good locking system

All Gen4 glocks have an ambi mag release, takes a few minutes to change it out. Make sure you get Gen 4 magazines though as the older magazines aren't compatible with left handed use...they need the mag catch cutout on both sides.

as far as i know all gen 4 glocks have reversible mag release. With the mag catch reversed only gen 4 mags will work as they have a cutout on both sides.

Also i believe there is an aftermarket ambidextrous mag release.

So an earlier version than a Gen4 Glock could be retrofitted with an ambi mag release? Is this a drop-in fir or does it requires a 'smith?

Cutting a notch on the right side of mags would be no big deal, just an accurate cut.
