I just bought a S&W 28 with a 6" barrel from Gunnar at Armco; a good guy to deal with, and I would deal with him again.
I shoot at a club that prefers that you carry the handgun on your person in a secur holster while you are changing tragets and whatnot. I am not sure what to get for a holster for this beasti; it is not exaclty small
. I was thinking of either a hip holster or a shoulder holser; I have an Uncle Mike's for my Beretta now and it seems to serve me well. I was thinking that the shoulder holster may serve me better for this one; I bought is to shoot in the winter so I am not scrambling around in the snow for my brass, and I could wear it over my coat a bit easier.
I would appreciate any help in picking out a holster setup for what I need; the cheaper the better, but I am willing to pay more if it suits my purposes better.
