I just picked up a pristine action (left handed) I’m curious if a right hand after market trigger would work in a left handed action? And where is a good source for bottom metal.I’ve done several builds on both savage and Remingtons but never had to source bottom metal

No you'll want a left handed trigger otherwise the safety will interfere with fitting. I've personally been running Trigger Techs on all of my 700's. You can order them without the bolt release for your application

Bottom metal will depend what you want to do, stock choice, but I'm assuming AICS will be rhe easiest. Not sure if the Pristines are compatible with any BDL style setups, you could ask them?

For the end use i really wouldn’t need a safety and or creating a slot for the safety would not be an issue if that’s the only hang up . I actually prefer the location of it on a right handed set up.

Depending on the stock/chassis you may not have a cutout for a rh safety also. As mentioned the TT are great and I used a RH safety on my LH PGW M15 for a while. You can also remove the safety if wanted.

Gotcha

Looks like Ultimate Reloader has done a few builds and used Hawkins bottom metal

Thanks that’s about what I thought been a long time since I played with triggers and the last time was a canjar single set . That one required a lot of adjustments to the stock/ bottom metal and modifications to the bolt stop.
