LEH elk 1-13A Vancouver Island?

My young hunting buddy (got his first deer last year) whom I've I've been coaching got the LEH elk draw in 1-13A on northern Vancouver Island.

I had that draw about 12 years ago but I understand the the elk have moved quite a bit since that time.

I wonder if anyone here has been hunting up there recently; say for spring bear for example and has a hint.

We'll be covering the whole area when we get there of course, from Kains Lake to the Goodspeed River.

Black Creek is a long way from the specific 1-13A zone near Holberg that the permit is for.
