Leica 1600-B owners. Need a question answer by you ASAP

Hi Leica 1600-B owners,

I have a question for you. I see in the documentation that the 1600-B will range from 100 yards to 1600 yards, whereas the 1000-R will range from 10 - 1000 yards. My question for those 1600-b owners is, is that true? Have you tried to range at say 50 yards? Does the 1600-B error out at such a short distance, or will it return a valid measurement? What is the closest measurement you are able to reliably measure?

EDIT: I'm referring to line of sight readings under 100 yards. It is apparent that it will not do angle compensation below 100 yards. The question still stands. Can you get line of sight ranges measured below 100 yards?

According to the manual, the minimum distance is 10 meters.
