My 10x42 Ultravids form Gr8fulDoug showed up yesterday, took them out bear huting and played around wiht them...

WOW...

Highly reccomended. Put my 5 yr old B&L 10x42's to shame:)
 
I used a set of 7x ultravids at guidecamp last year, they were amazing. I've used Ziess and Stiener Bino's before and the Ultravids take the cake.

took a peek through some Ultravid 7x42s on Monday, excellent optics, I was very very impressed. Could barely put them down for 2 minutes :D

i looked at some last year, they are nice.

got a couple of questions about ordering from gr8fuldoug since i am seriously considering buying from him. how were the brokerage fees? did you have to pay GST and PST (does it apply since they are demos and could be considered "2nd hand"?)? or even duty since they are not made in the USA?

i sold my leica binos and bought swarovski.what a big mistake.i sent my binoos back because the left lens was filled with water because i left them out over night and it rained.i sent them back to swarovski to be fixed and got accused of abuse by weiner smaltz. he is very ignorant.i would not buy another swarovski product even if i won the lottery.leica is a better product.
